- Reporting Review
The goal of any meeting is to find, improve, and implement processes that fit with the team and the organization’s culture. The relationship component is one that’s often forgotten. Are you taking the time to brainstorm what’s currently working and what you can do to improve as a team? The reporting side of your meeting is one that we’re all used to, but make sure you’re reaching all sides and asking the important questions. Talk through changes, updates and participation rate. Look at the stats.
These review components are especially important when it comes to tax credits. Once you get started utilizing tax credits for your business, make some time to review the process with your entire team. Below are some simple and effective questions to ask:
The Relationship Review
- Have there been any team morale changes?
- What’s working?
- What’s not working?
The Reporting Review
- Are there tax credits based on location or employee that we’re not taking advantage of?
- Have there been any law changes?
- What’s our current participation rate?
- What’s our compliance rating?
- What’s the opportunity cost?
